We welcome any new Mommies to join us
on the message board. We would love to meet you! We would also like to introduce our hosts!
MichelleMBZHost-My name is Michelle, I am 29 years old, born March 26th and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I moved to the East Liverpool
Ohio area on Oct 13, 1997 with a man that I thought I was in love with. Actually Rob was friends with this person.
Rob and I started dating on May 12, 1999 but we were best friends before that hanging out every (and I mean every) single
day. He asked me out on Mother's day which was 3 days prior but I made him wait so I could think it out. Good
decision I made . We were engaged on January 25, 2003 and married on March 6, 2004 hence my former screen name mrsmiller3604. Rob and
I found out that I was pregnant on April 6, 2004 but we lost our baby on May 14, 2004 I had found out through my doctor's
testing at the time of my miscarriage that my progesterone levels were extremely low and getting lower. When I found
out on March 31, 2005 that I had a BFP, my doctor immediately ordered blood work to first confirm my pregnancy and then less
than 2 weeks later started me on progesterone suppositories. I was on suppositories until I was 14 weeks pregnant and
I had a dr appt everyweek during my first trimester, every other week during my second trimester, and by the end of my 3rd
trimester I was seeing my doctor 2 times a week until he induced me. I should have been punching the time clock as much
as I was there. . While I was pregnant I worked for a Chrysler dealer who is now out of business and I am oh so delighted for that.
They treated me like really bad while I was there, cutting my pay at first then my hours until I was making $600/
month minus my health insurance. What a-holes. Any ways, my DDC was Dec. and I am sure glad that I found them,
if it wasn't for them I probably would have gone insane. Every time something would go wrong at work, I would get much
needed support from my BZ family. Now onto a brighter note, my little boy. Steven James Miller was named after
2 people that are really important in mine and DH's life- Steven is Rob's brother's middle name, but every one calls him Steve.
James is my dad's first name and since we have so many James' in our family we swapped the 2 names. Stevie was born on November
18th at 37 1/2 weeks. My doctor induced me because, my pregnancy induced (stress induced-from work) hypertension was
way out of control- he had upped my meds 3 times to control it and my BP was extremely high one morning so I went in for an
emergency visit to check on Stevie and my BP was 160/103 and not coming down after taking my meds, so I had a NST done and
it turned out to be a ST instead because the entire time, all that was registering was contractions and not fetal movement.
He sent me for an ultrasound down stairs and when I came back up stairs he said to go to L & D the next night to be induced.
Stevie was born on November 18th after 24 hours of induced labor. He was born c-section because no progression was made and
at one point my bp was 190/105 and when Stevie was born at 8:25pm we found out that his umbilical cord was crissed crossed
around his neck and would not have survived a vaginal birth. So that is me and who I am.
BeckyBZHost--My name is Becky. I am 26 years old. I am a SAHM. I have two kids.
Carleigh who is five, born March 28, 2001, just started Kindergarten, and Connor who was born December 10, 2005. I have been
married to my highschool sweetheart Nathan for 8 years. Nathan is a Project Engineer for a construction company. We live in
South Carolina, but my heart belongs in Tennessee. I am a big Tennessee Vols football fan. I plan on being a SAHM until Connor
starts school (maybe),Lol. I worked full-time as a Chiropractic Assistant for three years while Nathan finished school. After
he graduated, I had just found out I was pregnant with Connor, he got a job offer in South Carolina so we then moved from
Tennesee to here. We are only two hours away from family so it's not too bad. I joined the BDC back in February 2006. I wish
I would have found it as a DDC, but better late than never. I am so excited to be a co-host, and if you ever need anything,
you can email me at BeckyBZHost@babyzone.com.
